Chris Rea - Texas

Here's a video of my journey across Texas on my motorcycle set to the tune of Johnny Cash and "I've been everywhere, man". The twist is, Texas singer/songwriter Brian Burns www.brianburnsmusic.com/bbm_default.htm swapped out the towns in the original song for Texas towns, cities and communities. My journey took 10,641 miles to complete and I had a ton of fun along the way. Some towns such as Spring Lake (formally knows as Clabbertown) ceased to exist 100 years or more ago, and others like Mill Creek and Val Verde were nothing but rural communities with no true city limit signs. In these instances, a post office, church or significant landmark was photographed as proof of visiting that location. Bartleville doesn't exist in the Roads of Texas, atlas, or any mapping programs and there have been lyric references to Bartonville which was secured by photograph. The music came from the Eagle and Snake CD. I HIGHLY recommend you purchase it if you like Texas ballads. This guy is awesome. I hope you enjoy the trip. Hang on, because the ride is fast.....

This is the Video of 'Texas Flood (video version)' found on the album 'Blues at Sunrise' Its pretty incredible.

Long version of Texas Flood by stevie ray vaughn ! Texas Flood is an electric blues album by blues guitarist Stevie Ray Vaughan and his band Double Trouble, released in 1983. Although "Texas Flood" has three verses of lyrics, the song is more of a prolonged guitar solo, allowing Vaughan to show off his characteristic electric blues style. During live shows, he would often play portions of this song behind his back, arousing an enthusiastic crowd response. Stylistically, "Texas Flood" is structured around the common three chord blues progression. Written and performed in the key of G (sounding F# because of Vaughan's tuning), it is in 12/8 time, or compound time[1], which gives it a "slow burning" feel that is common in Texas blues. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Texas_Flood_%28song%29

When my cousin Skeeter Elkin, piano player for Bob Wills, gave me this video he told me that when it aired it pre-empted the traditional national TV sunday night programming of The Wonderful World of Walt Disney. Only Bob Wills and the Texas Playboys ever had power to bump the mouse!

These are the members of the school board who will vote in favor of science: Mary Helen Berlanga, Bob Craig, Mavis Knight, Rene Nunez, Bruce Beckman, and maybe Lawrence Allen. [I was initially told that Pat Hardy supported evolution, but was advised later that she believes creationism to be equal to evolution; whereas her Libertarian opponant, Bruce Beckman is adamantly against teaching the creation myth at all.] Also please support Linda Ellis who is running as a Write In Candidate against Barbara Cargill (Woodlands). The science community (all teachers and educators) should get behind her and help her with her campaign. If we can start replacing the right wingers then your letters and research will not fall on deaf ears. Linda Ellis: The WRITE -IN CANDIDATE FOR THE RIGHT Reason. VoteLindaEllis.com You have our permission to share this letter with as many in your field as possible. Let's get the word out on these "goons" that have taken over the SBOE. Also, if you know anyone in the Beaumont district of David Bradley tell them to support Laura Ewing. It is imperative that we take hacks like David Bradley out of the decision making at the state level of education. Read the Texas Monthly article written this month about the State Board. It's very telling and it's about time.

The Trailer for The Texas Chainsaw Movie (2003 version), starring Jessica Biel, R Lee Ermey, Jonathan Tucker, Erica Leerhsen, Mike Vogel and Eric Balfour. I already saw some versions of this trailer here on YouTube, but they were shorter and showed less footage of the movie, so I posted this one. (This trailer comes from the Apple Trailers website, and is not made by me) The songs played at the beginning is called 'Song to the Siren' originally by Jeff/Tim (thanks PinkCloud37) Buckley, but most famously covered by a 1980's goth band named "This Mortal Coil", but the version in this trailer was recorded by a girl from a band called "Moneypenny"/Synchronic Music in the WB studio and isn't available for download anywhere, nor has it been released on CD. The song at the end of the trailer (01:46) is called "Signal to Noise" by Peter Gabriel, from the Gangs of New York OST, but it's a remade version for this movie... The story was based on a man called "Ed Gein" but he didn't use a chainsaw. The cannibalistic familiy depicted here never existed!!! Some proof here: http://nl.youtube.com/watch?v=MCuTm31z7ck&fmt=18 . Hopefully this will stop the fighting on my video page... Enjoy! :-) DLL108.

This is the best of several generator shows these amazing guys from Dayton, Ohio performed at Cornerstone 2006. Despite my amateur status, that I was behind the speakers & the fact that my camera is designed 4 shooting stills, not video, I'm okay with the final product. This is primarily due to the grace of God & the amazing, energetic performance by the guys.

UPDATE Sept 5 07 http://www.mysanantonio.com/sharedcontent/APStories/stories/D8RFILF80.html UPDATE Sept 5 07 Associated Press just interviewed me. UPDATE Sept 4 07 Granny Warrior letter http://www.grannywarriors.com/strawpol.htm UPDATE SEPT 2 07 ****MUST READ**** I just got an email through the Ron Paul Meetup up group from the well known "Granny Warriors" They just informed everyone that they have PROOF that an ENTIRE BUS FULL of Ron Paul DELEGATES from San Antonio were prevented from voting. They arrived on time and were denied. After another bus pulled up and they were ushered in through the side entrance. END UPDATE#1 The vote was supposed to be until 1 or 2 pm, but GOP security prevented registered Delegates from entering the building who were wearing Ron Paul signs at 10am. I was standing over by the Granny warriors when 2 delegates approached me and asked me to help them get into the convention center. They had showed up at the door a little before 10am wearing Ron Paul shirts. The security guard told them to change into proper attire. They left and changed then came back and it was now 10:10/10:20 and the security told them the registration was closed. Apparently everyone who showed up from out of town or with an online registration recpt. was denied access unless they got there before 10am and in proper attire. Delegates who showed up, got their credentials and then changed were allowed to enter. In the video the woman in red asks a Ron Paul organizer for her pass. He tells her the woman with the box has it. She runs to the woman with the box of passes, and askes if she has the passes, and the woman tells her no. So what was in that box, and why was she in such a hurry to get the box out of the convention center? It was in my opinon a lie and the passes were in the box. The security guard is asked by me on camera who he works for, and he evades the question. If he works for the GOP then why not say "yes GOP" he says "the party" Who's party? Another candidate? Who told this security guard to deny access to Ron Paul delegates? We counted about 12 or so people walking up to the door and being turned away every 10 min or so. This went on from 10am till 1:30 when I left. This does not count the delegates who showed up in Ron Paul shirts and could not or decided not to change and simply went home frustrated and out the $50 or $75 fee the GOP charges. If they paid for credentials and were denied them, should they file a dispute on their credit card? Would hundreds of disputes on the GOP merchant account make national headlines, and force the merchant account provider to suspend or even file criminal charges against the account holder?
